Dr Annika Ester Maresia is the Administrator and Website & Social Media Editor at the Oxford Global Society.

A historical linguist by training, she completed her DPhil in 2023 at Jesus College, Oxford, where she was a Graduate Scholar and a Wolfson Postgraduate Scholar in the Humanities. She has taught at the University of Oxford and the University of Macau and is an experienced researcher, communicator and (copy)editor through both her academic work and her freelance work.

Annika Ester is currently based in Italy and, in addition to the UK and China, has also lived or spent extended periods of time in Finland, Singapore and the US. She is passionate about facilitating international and intercultural dialogue and equipping others with the right tools for effective and confident communication.
